I coordinated a career day for the students of the  Urban Assembly Maker Academy. My colleagues volunteered their time to show them the work we do at Amplify and to talk about the tools and skills necessary for a career in technology – particularly educational technology. I found this experience to be enormously rewarding and these young adults left our office excited and enthusiastic about the career opportunities available to them. After a day of fielding questions from the highly engaged students, I'm pretty sure my co-workers were the ones who went home feeling inspired and optimistic about the future!
